This album was originally recorded under the name 'White Rabbit'. It was made available for free in 2004 through Myspace (yes it was that long ago) - anyone in the world could request a copy simply by providing their postal address. The album was originally released on CD with a home made sleeve, only 50 were ever printed. It was fun at the time to send music to people, and the Internet was a new thing to me then so it had a real novelty. I'm still in touch with some of those people who I sent albums to, and although it seems sort of quaint now it was a good way of releasing music in a very direct way.

I can't remember all of the recording details, but most of the vocals and basic guitar parts were recorded at The Premesis recording studio in London, other parts were home recorded and overdubbed on a Yamaha 8 track Minidisc recorder. This is one of two 'lo-fi' albums produced around this time ( the other being 'Red' ). The songs were all based around images from a book of photography of American cities which I had at the time, although the songs don't really have much to do with that lyrically. It was more a source of inspiration and atmosphere.

In keeping with the original Myspace giveaway the songs are now made available here to download for free, I hope you enjoy them.
